mixing metaphors
With a heartbreaker of a fourth quarter yesterday in White Plains, one of the most successful IMP-playing partnerships in American bridge is no more. When the Spingold kicks off in Washington this July, George will play with Norberto Bocchi; Ralph is going to partner Bart Bramley and Chris Compton’s slated to bat cleanup with Bocchi. Rates to be exciting — I am definitely going to enjoy my (wait for it … ) ringside seats for the action and fireworks.
Wait.
Remember last time I was courtside? Great big Celtic flopped in my lap. George — I love you, honey, but maybe I’ll watch from the cheap seats. Just in case.

Too funny.

As a major fan of my friends Ralph and George, I wish them the best of success in the new alignment.
It is the end of one era, but perhaps the start of another.

Ralph & Geo have had a great run. Someone should check how many quarters they played where their team was plus…. it is lots.
Needless to say, however, I wish them the best with the New Order! And yes – Red – stay safe! It’s a dangerous world out there!

This is no doubt blessing in disguise or not in disguise, dont know much about it, but do know that Noberto Bocchi is what the younger ones call HOT, (looking that is). A blonde Italian (from the north, no doubt). I would be total pushover at the table if he even opened his mouth. I forgot, they dont talk out loud in these events. Dont mean to slight his pard, actually they are both hot!
