With just a few boards to play in the first day of the Olympiad final in Beijing, England leads China in the Women’s event, Italy leads England in the Open and USA is beating Japan in the Seniors. In the 3/4 playoff, the American women beat Turkey and Norway beat Germany for the bronze. So in the Open (with a day to play in the Final and certainly anything can happen), medalists will be Italy, England and Norway; in the Women’s England, China and USA. Congratulations all.
