I’m confused. This post in the BBO forums seems to suggest that all a team needs to do in order to have all of their World Championship matches broadcast on BridgeBase is provide a competent operator (or, presumably, two).
It sounds familiar and makes a lot of sense for a team to be able to ensure its matches are broadcast. I vaguely remember a recent European tournament I was watching online (maybe Pau?), when Roland reported that one of the countries (maybe Germany?) was late in paying the broadcast fee and was at risk for being dropped. I poked around a little bit then, but now I’m getting serious about it. What’s the deal with the VuGraph — does money talk?
