just wondering
Anybody know how one gets to play North-South in the ACBL Speedball? Judi and I were talking about it this morning, and I just had to take a look. Check this out — I’ve played about thirty Speedballs since the first of April, and a quick review of the movies (okay, it wasn’t that quick. It was a slow and tedious task, opening the individual movies. Goes to show the extent to which I’m willing to go in pursuit of a story. Note I didn’t say “good story.”) shows that I’ve been North-South only once. Coincidence?
Wish there was an easier way to review a more comprehensive history of BBO boards. And wouldn’t it be great to mine the movies and replay some of those hands?

I think they make an effort to sit the younger players east-west since they are more able to move from table to table after each round.

LOL!
I was just going to advise Stacy to SIT in the N/S chairs.
But - Bob’s analysis far superior.

It might depend on how early before the tourney you sign up?
