Those dumplings we came all this way to eat …
After Napa, we headed north into the Redwood Forest. 
And climbed a tree.
And pulled off a few times to take photos before it started to rain.
We looked for whales in Crescent City, CA and then drove out into the middle of Oregon.
Where we were in for a surprise …
… that I couldn’t quite believe.
Until we were there in the thick of it.
The last stop on our road trip, Mt. Bachelor Village Resort, is perched high above the Deschutes River.
