You might get the idea that all we do is eat. Not true. Though we conducted a thorough tasting of In N Out Burger stops from Vegas to Napa, we also saw a few of the sights along the way. A morning at The Getty Center, an afternoon walk along Rodeo Drive, a few hours in the swimming pool, explored Napa and Sonoma Counties.
We have partied in several hotel rooms, watched the same movie twice (Sydney White), become fans of CSI. I picked up a purse-sized notebook in Healdsburg and have been getting back into writer mode, little by little. I’m right where I was last year — half my mind is pulling hard toward writing, the other half has to keep thinking bridge. Still trying to strike that balance, still isn’t easy.
