congratulations chris & lynne!
I love it best when great things happen to good friends. Chris Benson (our friend and my former teammate) and Lynne Feldman won the Women’s Pairs last night; it’s Chris’s first national win, George and I couldn’t have been happier for them. Did you know Chris is Martha Katz’s mom? I’m having breakfast with photographer extraordinaire, Peg Kaplan. With any luck she’ll email me a gorgeous photo of the winners and I’ll drop it in.
Sue Picus and Rozanne Pollack were third, Judi and I finished all the boards and had a fantastic time. Today is the Swiss, hopefully Peggy Sutherlin has recovered from her scary bout of food poisoning. Judi and I will play the first half, then root the horses in. Hoping to qualify, as always. Nothing to win today…
Looking ahead to next week — Vegas on Monday and Tuesday, then Grace and the cherubs and I are off to the coast.
