pitchers and catchers

Spring’s on the way, though you couldn’t exactly tell it by looking at my snow-covered neighborhood. My favorite pitchers and catchers reported for work yesterday in Tucson, I’m pretty excited about that.  I’m almost over the souvenier cold I brought home from Houston (thanks again, honey), will be back to work and practice on Tuesday.

Congratulations George, Ralph, Lew and Joanna who finished third in the Yeh Bros Championships. This was the greatest trip for him — every time I talked to him, George was having a fantastic time. He loves to play four-handed, enjoys traveling in Asia and wasn’t gone long enough for anything to become particularly obnoxious.  He’ll be home tomorrow, the cherubs and I can’t wait.

Next up, Detroit.  I’ve got a lot of getting ready to do and not a lot of time in which to do it.

We started out as a “5-bagger” but soon become 4 after a player had to fly home for a family emergency. George and Ralph played solid throughout the tourney.

Finding my teammates (or having them find me) is one of the best parts of my game :-)
