While I was in Williamsburg last week, George let the kids get haircuts. Brave man, willing to face The Wrath of Mom.
The littlest one got the hairdo we call the “Suri bob,” after the trend-setting infant daughter of Katie Holmes and that creepy Scientologist husband of hers.
The cut suits my little cherub perfectly (I was skeptical about that) and we’ve all been gushing about how great her Suri bob looks. Night before last, while I was blow drying her hair, she announced that it’d be ok if I call her Suri-Bob. (”Like Sponge Bob!” said Judi.)
At bedtime, she informed me that she’d decided she’d rather be called by her own name. “Suri-Bob sounds weird,” she said.
“And anyway, why’s her middle name Bob?”
