Four of a minor is keycard when (1) it has been agreed you are playing minorwood (2) you are not in a competitive non-game forcing auction (3) you are in a game forcing auction so not invitational (4) any situation where 4N would be quantitative
Also, though not asked: (a) 4N by the minorwood purveyor is always to play after the minorwood response, (b) the next step up not including 4N asks for the queen of trump and if held responder bids their cheapest King (c) one step past the agreed minor asks for kings.
