thirty two left to play
Our days in Shanghai are coming to an end. I’ve got one or two little errands to run this morning, but mostly I’m packing all the trinkets and jumping for joy that in about 36 hours I’ll be back in my own house, curled up on my couch with my kids watching Ugly Betty and Survivor. And polishing George’s medal.
Because no matter how these last two segments go, USA1 is guaranteed to medal in the 2007 Bermuda Bowl. We’re not out of it yet, a couple of good sets is really all we need to finish on top. We’ve been here before: led early in the Round Robin, then struggled against good teams in the knockouts to win it on the last board. Did it in the trials in White Plains and against South Africa a couple of days ago.
Not over till it’s over …
