Four days until we land in Shanghai. My head’s swimming around the to-do list, but at least its swimming (as opposed to, say, drowning). Packing is poised to become my latest obsession — got the coolest rolling duffle bag and can’t wait to try it out.
Things simplify very rapidly. From the time we leave for the airport on Wednesday, all my attention will be focused on helping George play his best bridge.
It is an incredible luxury to be able to travel for bridge — we have an unbelievable support system at home and on the road. Our kids, parents, friends, relatives, co-workers, teammates, captain & coach. We simply couldn’t do it without you.
