here we go
Shannon arrives today. Notes to Kinko’s, prep for tomorrow night’s dinner/bridge party, tidy the guest rooms. Not so much nervous as anxious to get started. I’ve worked hard these last few weeks; hopefully it’ll pay off in fewer mistakes when play begins Friday morning.
The way I see it, I’m playing to see which friends get to come with me to China. 
On deck: how all this affects the rest of life. Kids. Fiction.
