Does it seem a little naughty, to be talking about the business of bridge? It does to me, a little. I’m still pulling thoughts together about that, hoping to continue the conversation this weekend.
Our practice went really well. We played some club games, brushed up on some forgettable conventions and started thinking seriously about the future. It’s a little overwhelming — there is so much I still don’t know. I’ve been playing “serious” bridge for almost three years; sometimes it feels like I’m learning pretty quickly, sometimes I fear I’ll never learn.
Scary stack of stuff to do before we head to The Cavendish early next week.
