Begins tomorrow. Be happy to get that under way, there’s a lot of anticipation and excitement in the house and it’s giving me a headache. I’m impressed by the USBF website, where I found the schedule of opponents for Friday and Saturday. handicap
Shannon and I played last night in a handicap game and since we had twice as many tops as bottoms we managed to avoid finishing last. Lots of interesting things came up, including this crazy hand.

Shannon arrives today. Notes to Kinko’s, prep for tomorrow night’s dinner/bridge party, tidy the guest rooms. Not so much nervous as anxious to get started. I’ve worked hard these last few weeks; hopefully it’ll pay off in fewer mistakes when play begins Friday morning.
