happy birthday
When she was around three, my little peanut went through a phase where she woke every morning with her round face full of delight. “It’s my happy birthday,” she’d proclaim.
“Happy Birthday, peanut,” I’d say with a giggle I sometimes suppressed and sometimes couldn’t.

A cool thing happened last weekend — all three of our teams won.
